Types of Cockroaches

There are 2 major species of cockroaches that effect us the most here in the bay area: the German and the Oriental.

  • German Roach

The German Roach is generally found living inside a structure and prefers a warm, humid environment.

  • Oriental Roach

The Oriental Roach on the other hand prefers dark, damp places and generally is found outside as well as in sewers and storm drains.

Roach Control and Treatment

Our roach control and treatment methods focus on the roaches hiding places and nest sites. We currently offer 2 different types of services for control of roaches.

  • Bait Service

A bait service, which is currently considered the gold standard, for roach control in occupied homes. Be aware that baiting takes a week or two to control the problem but it also does provide a greater level of control and exposes you to far less chemicals.

  • Liquid Product

The other form of service we provide is the application of a liquid product. This type of service is general limited to vacant or non occupied structures. One advantage that this services has over the bait service is the "fast knock down". Roaches will start dying within minutes of the application, but continued control is best establish with the baiting service.
